Grami Shakthi Performance Competition - 2025
The Department of Rural Development in the Central Province has announced the "Grami Shakthi Performance Competition - 2025" to evaluate and recognize the outstanding performance of rural development societies across the province.
Competition Timeline
Phase 1: Preparation (February 1 - February 28, 2025)
- Formation of organizing committees
- Decision-making on evaluation criteria
- Application form preparation
- Selection of the judging panel
Phase 2: Coordination (March 1 - March 15, 2025)
- Informing rural development officers about the competition
- Establishing detailed competition criteria
- Identifying judges at divisional, district, and provincial levels
Phase 3: Application Process (March 16 - June 30, 2025)
- Development and finalization of application forms
- Printing and distribution of forms to all divisions
- Informing rural development societies about participation
Phase 4: Submission (July 1 - August 10, 2025)
- Societies complete and submit applications to Divisional Secretariats
- Divisional Secretariats approve applications
- Forwarding approved applications to the department
Phase 5: Evaluation (August 11 - October 5, 2025)
- Divisional-level competition evaluations (August 11 - September 10)
- Submission of divisional results (September 11)
- District-level evaluations (September 11 - September 30)
- Provincial-level evaluations (October 1 - October 5)
Phase 6: Awards (October 10 - October 31, 2025)
- Announcement of winners
- Award ceremony for outstanding performers
